GM Nigel Short said at the FIDE General Assembly held today that he accepts Kirsan ilyumzhinov's offer to head the Fund for chess development on Africa. Let us remind you Kirsan Ilyumzhinov mentioned an offer during his speech during elections.
"You offered me to head the Fund for chess development in Africa which you said is already created," Nigel Short said. "And in which 500 thoudand dollars have already been invested according to you. I am gladly accepting your offer and I am ready to start working as soon as those 500 thouasnd dollars will be transfered on the account."
